None of our rental boats or personal watercraft are permitted in the Gulf. Our facility is located directly in the center of the Intracoastal Waterway, which gives you exactly 12 nautical miles North and 12 nautical miles South to explore the surrounding areas.

Every boat is equipped with an informative navigational chart featuring areas of interest, fishing spots, and waterfront bars & restaurants with dockage.

Florida law requires that persons born on or after January 1, 1988, complete a NASBLA-approved boater education course prior to operating a vessel powered by a motor of 10 horsepower or more.

No one under 14 years of age may operate any PWC on Florida waters at any time, even if such person possesses a Boating Safety Education ID Card. No one under the age of 18 years may rent/lease a PWC.

SIESTA KEY: We share a parking lot with Turtle Beach Grill, so sometimes parking space can be limited. We suggest parking across the street at the Turtle Beach Public Beach Access. Parking is free, and available from 6am to Midnight. Please note, this area is monitored and regulated by Sarasota County. Please obey app posted rules and signage.

DOWNTOWN: There is plenty of free parking available in the Bayfront Parking Lots – spanning from just north of Selby Gardens all the way towards Sarasota’s infamous “Unconditional Surrender” statue. Please note, these parking areas are owned, operated, and monitored by the City of Sarasota. Please obey all posted rules and regulations.

What should we bring with us?

The essentials for a day outdoors – plenty of sun protection such as sunscreen, a large hat, lots of water, a towel, and possibly a cooler. We have ice, beer, and plenty of supplies available for sale in the Ship’s Store in case you forget anything.

How early do I need to show up?

We recommend that you show up at least 15 minutes prior to your rental time to sign your rental agreement, load the boat, and complete a brief orientation of the boat. Late arrivals cannot be made up later in the day.

All boats and kayak rentals come equipped with a local chart.

How much gas will I use?

Many factors contribute to gas usage, such as tides, wind, speed, how far you travel, and how many hours you have the boat for. Typically our Pontoon Boats are the most fuel-efficient vessels in our fleet, however they are not meant to travel very fast.

We require a credit card deposit to secure all of our boat rental reservations We require a minimum 48 hours notice from the scheduled reservation start date and time to avoid the full charge of the rental.*

*BAD WEATHER POLICY - Cancellations in cases of heavy rain or small craft warnings are not subject to this cancellation policy. If a Small Craft Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for the local area, rental boats and personal watercraft are not permitted to leave the basin, and there is no penalty to the customer. Cancellations due to heavy rain or small craft warnings may be made by phone as late as the start time of your rental. Please do not assume we know that you wish to cancel due to weather. All rentals leaving the basin are at the sole discretion of the Marina Manager.
